Abstract:

To provide a method for improving whiteness of fly ash balloons, and coated fly ash balloons with improved whiteness, and a method for producing the same.

An aqueous solution including fly ash balloons and a calcium source is heated under pressurization, so that a film comprising a calcium silicate hydrate is generally uniformly formed on the surface of the fly ash balloon, thereby improving the whiteness of the fly ash balloon.
