Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To modify a quality of a smoke gas according to a reduction in an amount of the blown and flowed air and a modification in a combustion process, by mainly preventing the main air from breaking through a combustion bed and preventing clogging of a main air supply opening.
SOLUTION: This method comprises the steps of feeding the main air supplied to a combustion bed through a thrust combustion hearth via a deflecting member 10 or the like disposed on a surface of the hearth, and then deflecting it. Hearth plates 1 to 4 for realizing the method have fluid impregnable hollow members 1 to 4 each having a coupling member for supplying and draining a cooling water, and a main air duct 9 passing through the plate from a bottom to an upper part. The member 10 or the like is disposed on a surface of the plate to cover an opening of the duct 9 so that the main air flowing out of the opening collides with it.
