Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for initial registering for printing wherein phase fitting is automated and has good accuracy and a gravure cylinder used in the method.
SOLUTION: A gravure cylinder has an axial plane part being in parallel to the rotational axis direction on the axial side part and has a channels 7a and 7b intersecting at right angles to the rotational axis direction and the axial plane part on the axial end part. In a method for initial registering for printing by using this gravure cylinder, under a condition where a carrying plane part provided on a print cylinder carrying part of a print cylinder carrying truck is fitted to the axial plane parts 6a and 6b of the gravure cylinder, the gravure cylinder is carried on the print cylinder carrying part and while the condition is kept, the gravure cylinder is carried to a printing unit by means of a carrying truck and in the printing unit, the gravure cylinder is placed on a bearing part of the printing unit by using the channels 7a and 7b of the gravure cylinder as a guiding reference in the printing unit and the shaft of the gravure cylinder is connected with the driving shaft of a printer.
