Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting a beverage can capable of inspecting the state of the sealing compound in a seamed part in a non- destructive manner, and a beverage can lid used therein.
SOLUTION: Barium sulfate is added to the sealing compound applied to the peripheral edge part of the beverage can lid 11 as a contrast agent and the beverage can 13 using the beverage can lid 11 is arranged between an X-ray source 16 and an X-ray data input means 17. X-rays are projected in this state from the X-ray source 16 and an X-ray fluoroscopic image is inputted to the X-ray data input means 17. The state of the sealing compound in the seamed part 14 is inspected from the X-ray fluoroscopic image.
