Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably specify a defect that becomes a starting point in fisheye breakdown for measuring the dimensions in a metal material.
SOLUTION: The fisheye breakdown is generated in a metallic specimen by a fatigue test, and the type of defect that exists in risk volume and extremely causes fatigue breakdown is specified for measuring the dimensions.
