Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a novel inspection method and device simple in equipment and economically advantageous in which the presence of a settled foreign matter in a vessel can be precisely and easily detected.
CONSTITUTION: A vessel 20 to be inspected is tilted so that the bottom surface part 21 is inclined, the image is picked up by a photoelectric converting means 30 in such a manner that the image axial line is never superposed on the inclined bottom surface part to the lower corner part 23 of the inclined bottom surface part, and the presence of a shade protruded from the bottom surface line in the lower corner part 23 is detected, whereby the presence of a settled foreign matter is judged.
