Abstract:
To provide a method of inspecting a surface capable of precisely and quickly inspecting the upper and side faces of a resin molding coating, or the like.
A mirror image is formed, where the side face of a polygonal molded and coated article in a top view composed of upper and side faces is made parallel with or nearly parallel with the upper face by an inclined mirror, thus capturing an image of the upper face and the mirror image. Then, the brightness of the mirror image is allowed to coincide with or nearly coincide with that of the upper face by light from a light source.
