To improve workability and safety when a PC balcony is mounted on forms regarding a method for installing the balcony.
A balcony positioning jig 1 is composed of: a base section 2 placed on the forms after slab forms and a support for the balcony are secured; a marking arm section 3 being slidably set up to the base section 2 in the horizontal direction and having a scale section given a size up to a front end section; and an abutting plate 4, which is fitted at the front end section of the arm section 3 and against which the end face of the balcony is abutted and positioned. The marking arm section is marked in conformity with specified return marking ink and positioned and fixed to the base section in the positioning jig, and a pair of the jigs are set at the required places of the slab forms at a proper interval. The PC balcony 11 is suspended obliquely by a crane so that the tail section of the balcony is positioned at a slightly lower place, and installed on the support, abutting the end face 11a of the tail section against the abutting plate 4.
