Abstract:
To provide a method of joining metal sheets coated with insulating materials in a reproductive manner in the homogenized state without dispersing conductive particles into the coating materials.
The method of joining at least two metal sheets 10, 12 to be laminated as a laminate comprises arranging the laminate of the metal sheets between an anvil 18 and a sonotrode 22, at least one metal sheet having electric insulating coats 14, 16 on at least the single face, and applying preset pressure to the laminate and successive ultrasonic vibration thereto under the pressure to locally melt metal parts of the metal sheets on the front face of the sonotrode.
