In the direct acting press, in which a direct-acting slide is controlled according to a set slide motion, a measuring part 21 for measuring the prescribed forming data during forming at a prescribed slide motion, a first storing part 22 for storing the measured forming data with the measuring part 21 corresponding to each slide motion beforehand during forming in each slide motion, a second storing part 23 for storing the measured forming data with the measuring part 21 during test forming, in each prescribed slide motion at the time of actually forming and a forming condition judging part 24 for judging whether the forming condition is good or not based on the comparing result between the forming data in the second storing part 23 and the forming data in the first storing part 22 corresponding to the same member, are provided.
