Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce the man-hour by half with two operators, to eliminate the fear of damaging the coating film of a vehicle and to facilitate the laminating work of the film rear end at the same speed as the vehicle in the state that the film front end is laminated to the vehicle.
SOLUTION: This method for laminating a protective film comprises the steps of mounting the film F cut in a predetermined shape at the front end at a first feeding jig 2, moving the jig to a forward predetermined position to draw the film F from a film roll 42, then mounting the midway of the film F at second feeding jig 3 held rear at a predetermined distance by the jig 2, cutting the site of the rear end of the film F by the jig 3 and the site of the front end of the next film F, peeling the front end of the film F from the jig 2 to laminate it to the front end of a roof R, and peeling the rear end of the film F from the jig 3 to laminate it on the rear end of the roof R.
