Abstract:
To provide a method for laser processing which can precisely process a work piece while maintaining the working surface state of the work piece good.
The method for laser processing comprises a step of emitting the THG (third harmonic wave) of an Nd:YAG laser D (or Nd:YV04 laser) of a solid state laser to the work piece. Thus, the smoothness of the surface of the work piece after processing with extremely small dirt, burr, dross or the like due to scattering of a molten material is assured. Further, the heat accumulation effect when the laser is emitted is small due to a short pulse width. The depolarization of the piezoelectric material of the work piece is eliminated, and hence the driving efficiency of an ink jet head 120 is raised.
