Abstract:
To provide a method which can depress a pour point of a fatty acid ester without any pour point depressants.SOLUTION: A method for depressing a pour point of a fatty acid ester mixture to be obtained below a pour point of each of fatty acid esters before a mixing step includes a step of mixing the two or more different fatty acid esters satisfying the following conditions (1) and (2): (1) a difference in the pour point between the two or more different fatty acid esters is less than 25°C and; (2) a sum of ester bonds of the two or more different fatty acid esters is 5 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
