Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable high degree lubrication by rolling after the uniformizing treatment of a lubricant which is applied to a material to be rolled and leaving it for a specified time.
CONSTITUTION: The material 1 to be rolled is piercing rolled with a piercer 2. This material 1 to be rolled is entered into an elongator 3 and revolved. Thin, after applying a liquid lubricant contg. a powder main lubricating ingredient to the surface of the material 1 to be rolled on the inlet side of a rolling mill (elongator) 3, by immediately slightly rubbing the surface of the material 1 to be rolled, the uniformizing treatment of the applied lubricant is executed. After the material is left for 10 to 60sec after that treatment, rolling with the rolling mill 3 is executed. In this way, the lubricant can be uniformly and stably stuck on the surface of the material to be rolled.
