Abstract:
To produce a web with even more unidirectionally arranged filaments.
The web production machine comprises a melt blow die 3 where a plurality of nozzles 2 are arranged in parallel through which a molten polymer is extruded as filaments 4, a conveyor 1 for conveying the thus extruded filaments 4 after collected, and a pair of suction boxes 71 and 72 disposed between the melt blow die 3 and the conveyor 1. The suction boxes 71 and 72 are disposed against each other at an interval in the direction of conveying the web 8 on the conveyor 1 so as to interpose the extruded filaments 4 therebetween and act to alternately draw the filaments 4 near by sucking air alternately.
