Abstract:

To provide a method for removing burrs to be generated after groove processing of a dynamic-pressure grooved bearing sleeve.

Boring of the bearing inner peripheral surface 3 is performed to a bearing sleeve, dynamic-pressure generating grooves 2 are formed on the bored bearing inner peripheral surface 3, burrs generated after groove processing are removed by a reamer, the bearing inner peripheral surface is finished by performing ball burnishing or pin burnishing, and therefore, the groove shapes are uniformed, the inside diameter accuracy and roughness are well, further high precise inside diameter finishing is made possible, and a sleeve of a dynamic-pressure grooved bearing, having stable performance can be obtained.
