To reduce air-conditioning load and maintain snow quality by offsetting an input heat equivalent part by cooling air blowing-in of prescribed temperature or lower from the inside of snow in an indoor skiing ground facility.
In an indoor skiing ground a number of cooling tube are buried at proper intervals and in the proper direction at a depth of about 25cm in the neighborhood of a snow accumulating part 2 having no possibility of being destroyed by skiing, and connected to a cooling air supply source. Cooling air of 0°C or lower is blown out to the snow accumulating part 2 from a nozzle through the cooling tubes. Thereby the cooling air of 0°C or lower reaches the surface of snow through gaps between the snow accumulating parts 2, since it drifts on the snow surface and maintain the snow surface at low temperature, snow melting can be controlled, and better snow quality can be maintained. Since the skiing ground is not needed to be cooled at 0°C or lower, air- conditioning load can be reduced.
