Abstract:
To provide a method for making Apo-2 ligand and Apo-2 ligand drug formulation, both of which are made by using divalent metal ion and are useful for inducing or irritating apoptosis of mammalian cancer cell; and to provide a method for using Apo-2L trimer drug formulation together with Apo-2 ligand and Apo-2 ligand drug formulation both having stability.
Apo-2L (114-281 configuration) is incubated at 5°C for 24 hours together with 20 mMTris, 8% trehalose, 0.01% Tween 20, and 5 mM of a specific metal salt (such as zinc acetate, or zinc sulfate) included in a pH 7.5 formulation.
