Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus to transfer a liquid of a minute region having an ion conductivity.
CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for making flow of a fluid having an ion conductivity introduced between an active electrode 152 placed in a flow path 151 having an internal gap capable of passing a liquid and an opposed electrode 153, the liquid supplied from a supply tank 154 is carried to the side of a receiving tank 155 by applying a voltage between the electrodes 152 and 153 by a power source 156 and acting an electromagnetic force on ions in the proximity of the active electrode 152. Thus, without installing means for applying magnetic and electric fields independently, the liquid can be stably passed and transferred by the electromagnetic force.
