To provide a method for managing a circuit board working apparatus which can specify the circuit board working apparatus, in which an error occurs in a production line, in which a plurality of the circuit board working apparatuses are connected, which can clearly determine which apparatus is required for what a work, by displaying working content which is required for the apparatus and which can easily confirm a note by a worker, even at a maintenance work time, and to provide a management system.
The method for managing the circuit board working apparatus comprises the steps of connecting each circuit board working apparatus to a host computer 66 in a production line 50 connected with a plurality of the apparatuses, specifying the apparatus in which the error occurs, when the error is generated from any of the respective apparatuses, and displaying working information needed in response to the contents of the occurring error on an operating state display unit 68.
