PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet for can body excellent in DI moldability, neck moldability and ear ratio.SOLUTION: The invention includes a homogenization treatment of an ingot of an aluminum alloy containing a determined amount of Si, Fe, Cu, Mn and Mg and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, then hot rolling and hot finish rolling, then first cold rolling with rolling reduction of 20% to 65% inclusive, first intermediate firing under the conditions of heating speed of 10 to 200°C/sec. retention temperature of 330 to 380°C, retention time of 1 to 30 sec. and cooling speed of 10 to 200°C/sec. by using a continuous firing device, second cooling rolling with rolling reduction of 10 to 25%, second intermediate firing under the conditions of heating speed of 10 to 200°C/sec. retention temperature of 420 to 600°C, retention time of 1 to 30 sec. and cooling speed of 10 to 200°C/sec. by using the continuous firing device, and then final cold rolling to a final sheet thickness under the condition of rolling reduction of 68% to 85% inclusive.SELECTED DRAWING: None
