Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing an anode active material that allows, with good productivity, manufacturing of an anode active material that can prevent an increase in confining pressure of a battery during charging.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an anode active material includes: a precursor preparation step of mixing Si particles and metal Li to obtain a LiSi precursor; a dispersion step of adding a dispersant to the LiSi precursor to obtain a LiSi precursor dispersion liquid; and a Li extraction step of adding a Li extraction solvent to the LiSi precursor dispersion liquid to extract a Li element from the LiSi precursor to obtain nonwoven fabric-like particles containing Si fiber, and in the method for manufacturing an anode active material, the average particle diameter (D50) of the Si particles in the precursor preparation step is 1 μm or less, and in the Li extraction step, the Li extraction solvent is added so that the temperature of a reaction liquid including the LiSi precursor dispersion liquid and the Li extraction solvent is maintained at 5°C or more and 15°C or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
