Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing artificial marble by adding a pattern material without lowering impact resistance, and capable of expressing a design by the pattern material without compounding a large amount of glass fibers or providing a reinforcing sheet or layer.
A resin composition is prepared by compounding the pattern material and additives such as a filler, curing agent or the like and this composition is molded and cured to manufacture artificial marble. At this time, the pattern material to be used is prepared by curing a resin composition for the pattern material prepared by compounding additives such as a curing agent or the like with a composite resin wherein a diallyl phthalate resin is added to a thermosetting resin.
