The method of denaturing the anionic or amphoteric microcapsules comprises adding compounds having the positive charge to the microcapsules while making preparation without the occurrence of agglomeration or flocculation or precipitation and further without the occurrence of the change in the properties of these microcapsules. These compounds and treatment method are described. The manufactured microcapsules have excellent affinity to woven and knitted fabrics and textiles, skin, paper and hair and are used to fix, for example, cosmetics, perfumes, capsule sealing agents and sanitary products.
