Abstract:
To produce a composite oxide particle that has a ratio (A/M) of an element A to an element M approaching 1 being ideal as a perovskite type crystal and at the same time has an extremely small average crystallite diameter.SOLUTION: A method for producing a composite oxide particle including one or more kinds of element A selected from Ba, Sr, Ca, Mg, Al, Pb, Co and Zn and one or more kinds of element M selected from Ti, Zr, W, Nb, Hf and Sn and having a perovskite type crystal phase composed of the element A, the element M and oxygen comprises: a first step of mixing a precursor including the element A and a precursor including the element M so that the element A is excessive to a theoretical composition to produce a reaction solution; a second step of subjecting the reaction solution to a solvothermal method to produce a synthetic solution including solid matter; and a third step of treating the solid matter with an acidic solution having a concentration of less than 5 mass% to produce a composite oxide particle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
