Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a compressed wood product enhanced in strength and easy to mold.
The method of manufacturing the compressed wood product has a powder bonding process for bonding a powder, which is based on a thermosetting resin, to the surface of wood to be processed and/or the surface of the mold, which is opposed to the surface of wood to be processed, of a pair of molds and a compression process for holding the wood and the powder by a pair of the molds after the mold, which can come into contact with the powder, is heated to the curing temperature of the powder to apply compression force to the wood.
