Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a damper pulley free from degradation of fastening force between a hub and damper rubber, and degradation of fastening force between a pulley and the damper rubber.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a damper pulley in which a pulley 20 is coaxially disposed on an outer periphery of a hub 30, a cylindrical space is formed between the hub 30 and the pulley 20, and a cylindrical damper rubber 50 is inserted to the cylindrical space to connect the hub 30 and the pulley 20, the damper rubber 50 is cooled and thermally shrunk until an outer diameter of the damper rubber 50 becomes smaller than an outer diameter of the cylindrical space, and an inner diameter of the damper rubber 50 becomes larger than an inner diameter of the cylindrical space, to insert the damper rubber 50 into the cylindrical space, and then the damper rubber 50 is recovered to normal temperature to be thermally expanded, thus the frictional force is generated between the damper rubber 50 and the hub 30, and further frictional force is generated between the damper rubber 50 and the pulley 20.
