Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a doctor containing a region in which a thickness of material is reduced to be constant.
There is disclosed a method of manufacturing the doctor formed from metal, especially from steel. The doctor manufactured has a material thickness reduction region (204) at a processing end part. The material thickness is almost constant across the material thickness reduction region (204). By applying a planing step to a base body part (100) having almost constant material thickness, the material thickness reduction region (204) is formed. The doctor manufacturing method which is efficient and has good cost effect is attained by the material thickness reduction region formed by the planing step.
