By using a drier comprising at least a charge port for a wet organic compound powder; a discharge port for the dried organic compound powder positioned at the rear part or the lower part of the drier; and an agitating means rotating centering around an axis, the dried organic compound powder is manufactured by indirectly heating the wet organic compound powder by a medium for heating. The method described above for dried powder is one, where by injecting pressure gas toward the internal part of a drier through the discharge port for the dried organic compound powder, the dried organic compound powder is discharged as the fixed layer of the organic compound powder formed is a gap between the inner wall of the drier and the agitating means is removed.
