Abstract:
To provide a high molecular weight polymer solution suitable for fiber shaping even in a combination of a hardly soluble high molecular weight polymer and an organic solvent, and a method of manufacturing fibers capable of obtaining the fibers of the high molecular weight polymer, and having a highly productive and energy-saving property.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing fibers, comprising: cooling a mixed solution of a high molecular weight polymer having a solid content concentration of 15 to 30 mass% and an organic solvent to 0 to -40°C; then, heating the resulting solution to obtain a high molecular weight polymer solution; and discharging the high molecular weight polymer solution from a discharge hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
