Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a glass ceramic substrate of high size precision by securing restricting sintering contraction in a lamination surface of a glass ceramic green sheet.
SOLUTION: (i) Plural glass ceramic green sheets each having a conductor pattern formed on a top surface are laminated to manufacture a laminated body, (ii) restraint green sheets including specific fireproofing inorganic materials and glass are stacked on both the surfaces of the laminate body, (iii) organic components are removed from the substrate and burning is carried out to manufacture a glass ceramic substrate holding a restraint sheet, and (iv) the restraint sheet is removed from the substrate. (v) The glass content of the restraint green sheet is so determined that glass is combined with the glass ceramic green sheet at the time of burning, substantially no contraction in the laminated surface is caused, and the glass powder in the glass ceramic green sheet has a 0.5 to 8 μm mean particle size and a (D90-D10)/D50≤6 granularity distribution.
