To provide a method for manufacturing a hose coupling metallic fixture with which a nipple part having high precision can be formed with one series of processes in a cold-forging.
This hose coupling metal fixture includes a coupling head part having a connecting hole, and a nipple part having a nipple hole, and is manufactured by sequentially applying the cold-forging, to a columnar bar raw material 12A. That is, a first pre-worked hole 14Aa is formed along the axial center from the one end part of the bar raw material 12A and also, a second pre-worked hole 22Aa is formed along the axial center from the other end part of the bar raw material 12A. The second pre-worked hole 22Aa is connected with the first pre-worked hole 14Aa and is formed as smaller diameter than that of the first pre-worked hole 14Aa and as larger diameter than that of the nipple hole. Thereafter, the peripheral near part of the second pre-worked hole 22Aa is applied as the work for making the nipple part.
