Abstract:
To provide a hot-rolled steel material manufacturing method by which occurrence of a burn mark can be prevented more reliably, and an inspection method.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a hot-rolled steel material in such a manner that a steel material is caused to pass a heating furnace 10 having heating zones 11, 12, 13 and a soaking zone 14 subsequent to the heating zones, a rough rolling mill 20, a descaling device 30, and a finish rolling mill 40 in this order. According to this method, whether a burn mark occurs or not is inspected in a relationship between a maturity which is an integrated value (time integration) of a steel material temperature from heating furnace charging to extraction and a temperature in the rough rolling mill 20, as a heating index, a region in which the burn mark does not occur and a region in which the burn mark occurs are detected, and a steel material is manufactured under the condition of the region where the burn mark does not occur in the heating index.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
