To provide a simple and environmentally and economically advantageous method for manufacturing a hydroxytriarylamine derivative and a (meth) acrylate compound bearing a triarylamine skeleton.

A halogenated alkoxybenzene is reacted with a diarylamine in the presence of a catalyst and a base, the catalyst comprising as essential ingredients a tertiary phosphine compound and a palladium compound. The thus-obtained compound is deprotected in the presence of an acid catalyst and the resultant hydroxytriarylamine derivative is further reacted with a (meth) acrylate derivative in the presence of a base.
