Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a water-impermeable soil material having deformation following properties of load since if a water-impermeable soil material suitable for landfill site from water is developed, water-permeable ground such as sandy ground which has been regarded as unsuitable for foundation can be changed into ground suitable for foundation by substituting the water-impermeable soil material for the ground. SOLUTION: A muddy liquid such as dredged bottom mud, etc., having >=100% water content is compounded with a high water absorption polymer (e.g. naturally occurring polysaccharide polymer such as mannan, galactose, etc.), to gel the muddy liquid and a material necessary for developing an initial supporting force after gelation and uniformly stirred and mixed.
