To provide a method for manufacturing an inkjet recording material which especially uniformly applies an overcoat solution with an amount of coating being less than an absorbing capacity of a receiving layer when the solution containing an additive is over-coated after applying a coating liquid for forming an ink receiving layer on a substrate, and to provide the inkjet recording material with a high quality in which coating non-uniformity and stripes are remarkably decreased.
In the method for manufacturing the inkjet recording material which is manufactured by a coating method for performing the coating by bringing a transferring roller and a transferring roller of a liquid feeding means onto the transferring roller into contact with a conveyed absorptive substrate, the method for manufacturing the inkjet recording material is characterized in that at a part just before a contacting part between the transferring roller and the substrate (a transferring part), a partitioning member for separating both parts exists at a position which is brought into contact with a liquid storing part.
