Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a lavatory seat which has cushioning properties imparting a feel of warmth with a presentable and sophisticated appearance and enables maintenance services such as cleaning and washing to be easily extended and can be easily manufactured without spending much cost for manufacturing/processing.
SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the lavatory seat is intended for the manufacture of the lavatory seat 1 covered with a seat 3 formed of a material with cushioning properties on the surface of a thermoplastic resin body 2. That is, this method comprises the steps to insert the sheet into a blow molding die 7, then introduce a thermoplastic resin parison 11 and blow-mold the lavatory seat body 2 and attach the sheet 3 to the face of the body 2, and further, protrude a braid-like sliding core 13 from the back to the face of the body 2. Thus a plurality of inner ribs 6 are formed inside the body 2.
