To provide a method of manufacturing a light quantity control member which is reduced in manufacturing cost, high in product yield and simple, and in addition, by which the light quantity control member which has an area having continuously or stepwise changing distribution of the optical density can be easily obtained and to provide an inexpensive light quantity control member which is manufactured by this method and has excellent characteristics, and a light quantity controller provided with the light quantity control member, and a photographing device.
The method of manufacturing the light quantity control member which is characterized in that a material containing colorants and to be cured by active energy rays is irradiated with active energy rays after the material is coated on a transparent base material, and thereafter, a color layer is formed by development, and the light control member obtained by this method, the light quantity controller provided with the light quantity control member, and the photographing device, are provided.
