Abstract:

To improve manufacturing efficiency and to reduce a manufacturing cost by reducing discarded substrate portions included in each large-size substrate in a method of manufacturing a plurality of liquid crystal display devices by dividing a pair of large-size substrates.

In the method of manufacturing liquid crystal devices, a first substrate range 11S including electric wiring extended from a first display area 11A and the inside of the first display area 11A up to a first substrate terminal area 11B and a second substrate range 11T including electric wiring from a second display area 11C and the inside of the second display area up to a second substrate terminal area 10D are formed at least on a large-size substrate 11 out of a pair of large-size substrates 11, 21, and the first substrate range 11S and the second substrate range 11T are adjacently arranged such that the first substrate terminal area 11B and the second substrate terminal area 10D are adjacently arranged.
