Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device having favorable display performance for both of the transmissive display and reflective display.
The liquid crystal display device has a reflective part PR and a transmissive part PT in each pixel of a plurality of pixels PX arranged in the form of a matrix. The method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display includes the processes of: depositing a film of a metallic material 111 having light reflecting property on a resist 103 formed on a wiring board 100; and selectively removing the resist 103 together with the metallic material 111 corresponding to the transmissive part PT.
