To provide a method for producing a moisture-permeable waterproof fabric for producing a moisture-permeable waterproof fabric excellent in peeling strength and water-repellent and oil-repellent properties which prevents strike-through of a coating composition for forming a moisture-permeable waterproof layer when a moisture-permeable waterproof layer is formed on a fabric treated with a water-repellent and oil-repellent agent composition.SOLUTION: A method for producing a moisture-permeable waterproof fabric includes: bringing a water-repellent and oil-repellent agent composition containing a fluorine-containing polymer, a liquid medium and a surface active agent into contact with a surface of a fiber base material; forming a layer containing the fluorine-containing polymer on at least one surface of the fiber base material; bringing a liquid containing a coating resin into contact with the surface of the layer containing the fluorine-containing polymer; and forming a moisture-permeable waterproof layer containing the coating resin.SELECTED DRAWING: None
