Abstract:

To manufacture a needle by a novel work method different from a conventional work method.

Among a needle valve for forming a tapered part 44b having the cross-sectional area reducing toward the tip side, at least a conical tapered part 44b is manufactured by vibrational cutting work. Thus, since the needle valve 44 can be prevented from deflecting in cutting work of the conical tapered part 44b, sufficient dimensional accuracy is provided. Since a cutter 102 is vibrationally displaced, a tip part of the conical tapered part 44b substantially slow in a peripheral speed, and becoming zero in a cutting speed, is also easily worked.
