Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an organic EL element, which is hard to cause a trouble in driving and a trouble of no light emission.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an organic EL element according to the present invention is one for manufacturing an organic EL element having a flexible substrate, a first electrode, a luminescent layer which generates an organic electroluminescence and a second electrode in turn. In the method, at least one step of the step of forming a film to make the first electrode on the flexible substrate and the step of forming a film to make the second electrode on the luminescent layer is arranged so as to include the steps of: conveying a material which will make an object to be subjected to film formation by a roll-to-roll method, provided that the flatness of a region on the material, where the film formation is performed, is equal to or smaller than one fifth of a length of the region in a direction of conveyance; and performing a sputtering process at a dynamic rate of 30 nm m/min or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
