Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a packaging roll which can detect a wrinkle etc. of a band body before the occurrence of abnormality, and can prevent the detection accuracy of the wrinkle etc. from being affected by a level of skill of an inspector.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a packaging roll, a device comprising a drum roller 18 coming into slide contact with a paper tube 3 which is a winding core 2, and a pair of left and right drive mechanisms 19 for pressing both ends of the paper tube 3 coming into slide contact with the drum roller 18 to the drum roller 18 by an endless helper belt 22, is used. The manufacturing method comprises: rotating the paper tube 3 by circulating the endless helper belts 22 of a pair of drive mechanisms 19; rewinding a wrap film 5 of an original roll 4 around the rotating paper tube 3; and thus obtaining a packaging roll 1. In this method, a circulation speed of the helper belt 22 in each of the pair of drive mechanisms 19 is measured. The speed difference between the circulation speeds of the pair of helper belts 22 is calculated, and it is compared with a threshold value. As a result of comparison, when the speed difference is equal to or more than the threshold value, driving of the pair of drive mechanisms 19 is stopped, and when the speed difference is less than the threshold value, driving of the pair of drive mechanisms 19 is continued.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
