Abstract:
To provide a method for achieving a plasma display panel having high-brightness display performance and capable of low-voltage driving.
A method for manufacturing a plasma display panel having: a front panel where an electrode A, a dielectric layer A and a protection layer are formed on a substrate A; and a rear panel where an electrode B, a dielectric layer B, a partition and a fluorescent layer is formed on a substrate B includes the steps of: (i) heating the front panel under vacuum; and (ii) cooling the front panel after the heating. In step (ii), inert gas starts to be supplied in a temperature range between 250°C and the highest temperature in step (i), to cool the front panel in the inert atmosphere.
