Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyester resin composition capable of highly dispersing inorganic particles into polyester with a simple method.SOLUTION: A method for producing a polyester resin composition includes melting and kneading a polyester resin and 0.5 pts.wt. or more and 2.5 pts.wt. or less of inorganic particles with respect to 100 pts.wt. of the polyester resin with a twin screw extruder, where an intrinsic viscosity of the polyester resin is 0.70 dL/g or more, a difference between a flow surface angle of the inorganic particles at a temperature of 25°C and humidity of 50% and a flow surface angle of the inorganic particles at a temperature of 25°C and humidity of 80% is 3° or less, and an operation condition of the twin screw extruder satisfies the following expressions (1), (2) and (3). 0.62≤Q/N≤0.75(1), 80≤Q≤200(2), and 40≤D≤130(3). In the expressions, Q represents a discharge amount of the twin screw extruder, N represents the revolution number of a screw of the twin screw extruder, and D represents a barrel diameter of the twin screw extruder.SELECTED DRAWING: None
