Abstract:

To provide a method of manufacturing a protein fiber superior in spinning stability and drawing stability.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a protein fiber includes a step of coagulating protein by introducing a dope containing the protein, a first solvent, a second solvent, and, optionally, a dissolving enhancer into a coagulation bath liquid containing a third solvent and, optionally, a dissolving enhancer. The second solvent includes at least one kind selected from a group consisting of lower alcohol, ketone, and water.SELECTED DRAWING: None
