Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing purified steel which has not large intervening objects when forging a disk-shaped part and has fewer intervening objects in a steel ingot, and to provide a method for manufacturing purified steel for disk-shaped forged part.
Molten steel is Al deoxidized, then casting is carried out by using an antioxidant containing an Fe oxide of 1 wt.% or less expressed in terms of FeO as an antioxidant. Thereby, the number of intervening objects in steel is set to be 1/5 or less compared to conventional casting, and the sizes of intervening objects are reduced.
