Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a reinforced metal pipe by a vacuum RTM method capable of easily providing the reinforced metal pipe with corrosive-resistance and pressure-resistance increased by a proper method of laminating reinforced fibers.
In this method of manufacturing the reinforced metal pipe, at least electrolytic corrosion prevention layers and carbon fiber fabric as reinforcement layers are wound around the metal pipe, a net-like resin diffusion medium is disposed around the carbon fiber fabric, and the entire surface of the metal pipe is covered with a film. Then a pressure in the film is reduced less than the atmospheric pressure to insert and harden matrix resin therein.
