Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a retardation film having a large in-plane retardation Re and a reduced Haze value.
In the method of manufacturing the retardation film, an optical film including at least one acicular or spindle-shaped particles having optical anisotropy and a transparent polymer is stretched in at least a uni-axial manner or more and then subjected to heat treatment.
